TUESDAY TOOLMEN

We all know that a person's mobility changes with age, but at Capital Area Housing Partnership, we believe the accessibility in and around one's home should not.

Founded in 2010, the Tuesday Toolmen are a group of dedicated volunteers who gather every Tuesday to construct entry ramps and install accessibility devices for our neighbors in need.

The entry ramps and accessibility modifications made by the Tuesday Toolmen not only prevent unwanted accidents and falls but they improve the quality of life for our elderly residents, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers.

To date, the Tuesday Toolmen have completed over 400 accessibility projects across mid-Michigan at little to no cost to income-qualified households.

To learn more about this program and to inquire about eligibility, please reach out to Justin Glomski at (517) 332-4663 or email.
