Assistance Programs
A number of Capital Area Housing Partnership’s assistance programs require participants meet federal income restrictions as determined by HUD. Maximum household income, listed by household size below:

Homebuyer Program Participation Requirements

The home must be in neighborhoods as outlined on the map linked to each program.

A buyer’s personal investment must equal at least 1% of purchase price.

Deed restrictions are recorded at the time of purchase requiring the home remain owner occupied for 30 years.

Home-ownership counseling is required prior to closing.

Limited funds are available and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Homebuyer Program Forms
Below is the link to the application packet needed to be pre-qualified for CAHP’s income restricted programs. This packet can be printed, completed and brought to CAHP prior to meeting with staff for initial review, completed at CAHP’s office with assistance from staff and/or a combination of those options. The completed packet, along with income documents, should be submitted with your offer to purchase. This should be submitted through your Realtor.
