The Bailey Center Performing Arts Space is a venue within the former Liberty Hyde Bailey Building consisting of the what was once the gymnasium with a stage and public restrooms. The space is ideal for individuals or groups for various art, performance and community events.  Follow the guidelines below to reserve a room today.

Maximum Capacity: 80 people

Room Reservation Guidelines:

1 – East Lansing residents, outside community members, organizations and artists may reserve the space with on-site management of the Bailey Center Apartments located at 300 Bailey Street, East Lansing, MI 48823 by calling (517) 282-2064 or by email deerpathmgr@continentalmgt.com.

2 – All payments must be received prior to use of the venue. Rates are as follows: 

​

East Lansing Resident/Non-profit/Tenant: $10.00/hour

Non-resident/Corporate Group: $15.00/hour

After Hours (M-F after 5:00pm & weekends): $20.00/hour

Use of on-site chairs: $10.00/per event

​

3 – For performances with a public audience, there will be no set fee charged to East Lansing residents to attend or view the performance, but donations may be requested. All fees collected will then be returned to the artist/group.

Cancellation Policy:

Rental space of the facility requires no less than 48 hours notice for cancellation. Please call management at (517) 282-2064.
