Bio

Jim is retired from the City of Lansing where he served as Budget Control Supervisor for the Lansing Police Department for 18 years and as the city’s Internal Auditor for three years. He has both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University. Jim has also worked in retail and media in the Lansing area. He has been a homeowner in the City of Lansing for twenty-eight years and is a single dad to three grown sons.
