FOR INGHAM COUNTY RESIDENTS
Beginning on January 1, 2022, Capital Area Housing Partnership assumed the role of Housing Assessment and Resource Agency (HARA) for Ingham County through the Continuum of Care and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
Our Housing Resource Center is a free service and the best first step for anyone experiencing housing challenges. Our trained housing resource specialists can help connect residents to programs and resources to address housing needs.

When you call the Housing Resource Center, a trained housing resource specialist will conduct and intake screening. Your responses during this process will help us connect you to resources and programs to address your housing needs.
Each program has its own eligibility requirements. Our housing resource specialists will connect you to the right programs and resources based on eligibility and circumstance.
HARA RESPONSE TEAM
Works within Housing Assessment Resource Agency (HARA) services including coordination entry, eviction prevention, homeless rapid re-housing. Assists with program delivery, client intake and management.
