As a Principal of North Coast Community Consultants, LLC (NC3) Rick has provided technical assistance and consultation services to over 40 local and state governments, nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies engaged in housing and community development programs and projects. He co-founded NC3 in 2011, following 21 years of work at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) where he served as Director of the Office of Community Development, guiding the Authority’s market-based interventions in urban neighborhoods including the development and sale of over 3,000 homes to successful low-income owner-occupants. A resident of East Lansing since 1980, Rick currently serves on the Boards of the Michigan Community Development Association and Housing Services of Mid-Michigan as well as the CAHP Board.
